I am fascinated by the mythic, heroic and symbolic in art. My intention is to use the figure to portray the human condition, and its relationship to the divine. I also seek the implication of spiritual force in the painting of still life, portrait and landscape. I am committed to the use of chiaroscuro and compositional groupings of figures and objects to suggest human struggle in the quest for God.
