Birds are endlessly fascinating. The variety of species in the bird kingdom is vast, and the accompanying universe of specialized, unique behaviors and visual beauty enchants me. My paintings are an exploration of the mysteries inherent in these creatures, and through attention to beak, feather, and wing, I am trying to understand and reveal them.
